Transformational Leadership

Post 2 of 10

So what is transformational leadership?

It is leadership that helps people grow, raises motivation, and inspires them to work toward a bigger shared vision, not just complete tasks.

It says:
You are more than your output.
This work means something.
And who you are becoming matters too.

Transformational leadership often includes:

  • leading by example

  • casting a meaningful vision

  • encouraging fresh thinking

  • developing people personally

Think Ted Lasso putting the “Believe” sign over the locker room door.Think Ted Lasso putting the “Believe” sign over the locker room door--but also modeling it, talking about it, asking about it, making it the air that is breathed.

Not because a sign solves everything.
But because culture shifts when people start believing they matter, the mission matters, and growth matters.

Reflect:
Does your leadership only assign work, or does it also awaken purpose?

Call to action:
Tag a leader who brought out the best in people, not just the most from them.
